Strong Reaction from Mourners as Israeli Warplanes Fly Over Beirut
During the funeral procession of former Hezbollah leaders, Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, Israeli warplanes flew over the Beirut sports stadium, prompting a strong reaction from the mourners.
A video circulating online showed the crowd's angry reaction, with chants and slogans against Israel, as the warplanes flew overhead.
The stadium was packed with mourners paying their respects to the former Hezbollah leaders.
Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, stated that the resistance continues with its presence and readiness, noting that "we have entered a new phase, and this phase differs in its tools, methods, and ways of dealing with it."
In a related development, Israeli warplanes launched several airstrikes targeting the Wadi Zabqin area in southern Lebanon, marking one of the most intense days in the region.
