# Bibas Family Demands Netanyahu Stop Politicizing Shiri's Death
The Bibas family has lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to cease exploiting their tragedy and making claims about the circumstances surrounding Shiri and her children's deaths during their captivity in Gaza.
During his speech at the "AIPAC" conference, Netanyahu reiterated his claim that Shiri and her children were killed by their captors in Gaza, which contradicts Hamas' statement.
Shiri's sister-in-law, Ofri Bibas Levi, responded to Netanyahu's comments, saying: "What Netanyahu is saying is simply an insult to the family."
The family's lawyer, Dana Bogitz, demanded that the Prime Minister's office stop releasing further details about the circumstances of Shiri and her children's deaths.
The family announced that the funeral will be private and limited, with no public attendance allowed, and no government representatives will be permitted to attend.
