Sudan Awards First Reconstruction Project to Egyptian Company
Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, announced that Egyptian companies are ready to contribute to Sudan's reconstruction efforts. This statement came during a meeting with Sudanese Foreign Minister, Ali Youssef Al-Sharif, where Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering support for Sudan and its national institutions.
Madbouly highlighted Egypt's commitment to providing humanitarian aid to the Sudanese people through the Egyptian Red Crescent. He emphasized the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries, describing them as "one body".
Al-Sharif expressed his desire to cooperate with Egyptian companies in Sudan's reconstruction efforts. He revealed that an Egyptian company has already been selected to implement the first reconstruction project. Al-Sharif looks forward to receiving Egyptian officials to coordinate joint efforts in this regard.
The Sudanese Foreign Minister praised the existing cooperation between Egypt and Sudan at various levels, outlining the Sudanese government's efforts to restore security and stability in the country.
The Sudanese Embassy plans to organize an event to express gratitude to Egypt for its support during April.
