Gold Prices Stabilize Near Record Highs
Gold prices stabilized on Monday near their record highs, fueled by concerns over US President Donald Trump's plans to impose new tariffs.
As of 12:51 Moscow time, April gold futures (Comex) rose 0.14% to $2,957.20 per ounce, while spot gold prices climbed 0.27% to $2,943.92 per ounce.
Last week, gold reached an all-time high of $2,954.69 per ounce.
Gold prices also received support from a weaker US dollar, as the US Dollar Index, which measures the currency's value against a basket of currencies, fell 0.04% to 106.5910 points.
