Israeli Rabbi Sparks Controversy with Remarks Against Egypt 

A prominent **ultra-Orthodox Jewish rabbi**, **Nir Ben Artzi**, has made **controversial remarks** against **Egypt**, calling for **divine retribution** against the country. His statements, made during his **weekly sermon in Jerusalem**, have stirred tensions as they accuse Egypt of **aiding Palestinians** against Israel.  

### **Rabbi Ben Artzi’s Statements on Egypt**  

During his speech, **Ben Artzi** expressed his belief that **Egypt deserves a powerful divine punishment** due to its alleged support for **Palestinians in Gaza**. He also warned that **Israel could face a severe attack** from **Egypt and Palestinian groups** if it makes the mistake of **handing over the Philadelphi Corridor to Hamas**.  

Ben Artzi further claimed that **Egypt secretly profits from Gaza** by controlling **border tunnels** and transferring **weapons** to Palestinian militants. He accused Egypt of **using Hamas as a tool**, stating that **“all Gazans are Egyptians”** and that **financial transactions between them fund hostilities against Israel**.

In an **apocalyptic tone**, the rabbi claimed that **Egypt and other countries opposing Israel will suffer from divine punishment** in the form of **earthquakes, floods, and volcanic eruptions**. He asserted that these disasters are acts of **God’s wrath** and that no nation can escape such **supernatural events** if they act against **Israel and Jewish people**.  

He also alleged that **Egypt, along with Qatar**, is preparing for another **conflict similar to the October 7 attacks**, suggesting that **a new war is imminent** but will take place at a **different time**.
