Russian Army Advances Towards Kupyansk in Kharkov Province

The Russian army has made significant progress towards the city of Kupyansk in Ukraine's Kharkov province, according to Vitaly Ganchev, head of the Kharkov Military-Civilian Administration ¹.
Ganchev stated that Russian forces are approximately 7 kilometers away from Kupyansk, with the front line expanding gradually. He also mentioned that there has been progress from the Svatovo region and the left bank of the Oskol River, with the front line widening by about 7 kilometers from the village of Sinkovka.
The official noted that the liberation of Kharkov is not limited to the Kupyansk direction alone. In May 2024, the "Sever" group of forces liberated around 15 settlements in the north of the province. Currently, fighters are countering attacks by Western mercenaries to maintain control over the liberated areas.
