Egypt Witnesses Gruesome Crime on First Day of Ramadan
A tragic incident occurred in the Egyptian governorate of Fayoum, south of Cairo, on the first day of Ramadan. A violent dispute between two families over a land dispute led to the deaths of two individuals and the injury of two others, including a woman who was shot.
The incident took place in the village of Al-Barans, in the town of Atsa, before the evening call to prayer. According to eyewitnesses, the dispute began with verbal insults and physical altercations, before escalating into a violent exchange of gunfire.
Security forces and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, where they found the two deceased individuals and transported the injured to the hospital for treatment. The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
