Kremlin Refutes Reports of Putin's Mediation in US-Iran Talks

Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has denied reports suggesting that President Vladimir Putin will mediate in the negotiations between the United States and Iran ¹. When asked about the reports, Peskov stated, "No, I cannot confirm those reports."

Earlier, several media outlets reported that Putin had agreed to play a mediating role in the US-Iran talks regarding the nuclear file. However, the Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized that there has been no change in the management of the nuclear file, and that the ministry remains responsible for negotiations on the nuclear issue, just as in the past.

The ministry also announced that it is responsible for conducting talks and negotiations on the nuclear issue, as was the case previously, under the supervision of the Foreign Minister and through the Political and International Legal Affairs Assistant ¹.
