Trump Calls on Russia and Ukraine to Negotiate "Before It's Too Late"
US President Donald Trump has called on Russia and Ukraine to negotiate a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict, stating that Russia is "decimating" Ukraine on the battlefield.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: "Based on the fact that Russia is totally decimating Ukraine on the battlefield now, I am strongly thinking about imposing broad-based sanctions, including banking and tariffs, on Russia until a ceasefire and final peace settlement can be reached."
Trump urged both Russia and Ukraine to come to the negotiating table and start "talks - now, before it's too late".
